SubLens Privacy Policy

SubLens helps users track subscriptions and understand recurring costs. This policy explains what data is stored on your device, what third-party services are used, and how data is handled in the current version of the app.

App Information

Data Stored on Your Device

SubLens allows users to manually enter subscription information such as subscription names, prices, billing periods, currency, usage score, and optional next billing dates. This information is stored locally on your device using local app storage.

SubLens does not upload these manually entered subscription records to a developer backend.

No Account Required

SubLens does not currently require account creation, login, or user registration.

No Bank Connection

SubLens does not connect to bank accounts, credit cards, payment cards, or financial institutions. Subscription prices are manually entered by the user and are not transaction records.

No Sale of Personal Data

SubLens does not sell personal data.

Network and Third-Party Services

The current Android version of SubLens uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google/Firebase.

Firebase Analytics helps understand app usage, screen navigation, and general interaction patterns. It may process app activity data, session information, app instance or Firebase installation identifiers, and device/app metadata.

Firebase Crashlytics helps diagnose crashes and stability issues. It may process crash reports, stack traces, Firebase installation identifiers, device model, operating system version, and app version.

SubLens does not send user-entered subscription names, prices, billing periods, usage scores, or next billing dates to Firebase.

Google's Privacy Policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

The current version does not include an advertising SDK and does not use the Advertising ID. Premium billing is not active yet. If Premium billing is enabled later, payment processing may be handled by Google Play and/or RevenueCat. Payment details are not handled directly by SubLens.

Data Sharing

SubLens does not share user-entered subscription records with third parties in the current version. Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics may transmit SDK-level app, device, analytics, and crash diagnostic data to Google/Firebase as described above.

Data Deletion

Users can delete subscriptions inside the app. Uninstalling the app removes locally stored app data according to the device operating system behavior.

Android Auto Backup is disabled for SubLens, so locally stored subscription records are not included in Android cloud or device backups.

Data retained by Firebase services is subject to Google's own retention and deletion policies.

Children

SubLens is not directed to children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when app features, data handling, or third-party services change. The latest version will be available at https://www.sublens.io/privacy-policy.
